About Mary c. frances
Candidate for Township Trustee

Mary C. Frances
Mary has lived in the Shell Lake subdivision of Wheatland Township for over 30 years and knows the joys of living in an unincorporated area of Naperville and Wheatland. Mary raised her two sons here and loves sharing this often-unknown part of the area with her five grandchildren. Mary has worked on several local campaigns and as an election judge since 2018 and is eager to do more for the Wheatland community, following in her father’s footsteps as he was a trustee for the Village of Mt. Prospect many years ago.
Mary is passionate about supporting climate change initiatives at the local level by supporting alternative to leaf burning and finding ways to increase composting of food waste. Mary is eager to contribute to the work of the current board through excellent fiscal management and innovative ways of updating infrastructure in the township. A graduate of National Louis University and Chicago Theological Seminary, Mary works as a professional coach and consultant with congregations and denominations looking to thrive in the changing world around them. She believes she can use her talents for the sake of the community. Mary lives in Shell Lake with her husband, chiropractor Dr. Kent Christianson, and their two labrador retrievers.
